The Barrhaven Food Cupboard is facing unprecedented demand, and without an increase in substantial donations, could be forced to close by the end of 2023. Lack of funding would leave over 1,500 individuals or 400 families in Barrhaven without supplementary access to healthy food on a monthly basis. The Food Cupboard is a grassroots community organization that is 100% volunteer-run and 100% community-funded and they are urgently asking Barrhaven neighbours to partner financially through one time, or monthly giving.
