Project underway, full intersection closure (August 2026)
The Borrisokane/Cambrian roundabout project is now nearing completion, a full closure required at the intersection of Cambrian Road and Borrisokane Road in order to complete the final asphalt paving work of the roundabout.
This closure will take place from Friday, August 28th to Sunday, August 30th.

Planning for a roundabout
I know that traffic has increased significantly year over year. I have spoken to the city on this to prioritize investment on this road. What we can anticipate is that this summer we will see a left turn lane to Flagstaff dr when going southbound on Borrisokane, with a slip lane (widening) for continuous southbound traffic. There will be a roundabout installed at Cambrian and Borisokane with some additional streetlighting in the 2025/26 timeframe. As the new Caivan development is built out in that area, I will be working with the developer and city to ensure that the development charges and community benefit funds address the need for upgrades.
Funding secured for project

Infrastructure received major investments in Barrhaven in Budget 2025. Of those investments, $1.04 million was secured for a roundabout at Borrisokane / Cambrian.
