Methods of contact
You can make a 3-1-1 service request:
Through the online form system
By email (311@ottawa.ca)
feel free to cc: david.hill@ottawa.ca in your email so that my team and I also have a record of the issue!
By phone (3-1-1)
If the service request was not fully fulfilled or you were not satisfied with the service, email david.hill@ottawa.ca; my team and I will follow up with City staff.
Why 3-1-1?
3-1-1's system and database is designed for recording, triaging, tracking and responding to routine issues. Upon submission of an issue, you will receive a service request number so you can track the progress of your service request.
How does 3-1-1 respond?
Depending on the issue, 3-1-1 will inform and allow the appropriate city department to respond.
For example, if there is an issue regarding parking or noise, the city may dispatch a by-law officer. If you request new garbage bins, a city employee will drop them off at the requested address. If there's an issue with a park, the city may send a member of their public works team to resolve the issue.
