No trucks on Flagstaff (July 7, 2025)
We've requested that trucks use Flagstaff from the Cambrian detour, and instead use arterials.
Turn Lane Confirmed
I know that traffic has increased significantly year over year. I have spoken to the city on this to prioritize investment on this road. What we can anticipate is that this we will see a left turn lane to Flagstaff dr when going southbound on Borrisokane, with a slip lane (widening) for continuous southbound traffic. There will be a roundabout installed at Cambrian and Borisokane with some additional streetlighting in the 2025/26 timeframe. As the new Caivan development is built out in that area, I will be working with the developer and city to ensure that the development charges and community benefit funds address the need for upgrades.
