The Nepean Community Programs from the City of Ottawa want to hear from you!

Our team focuses on bringing recreation and community programs closer to where people actually live, especially in neighbourhoods that fall between the City's major complexes. Think of us and your local Community Association as a bridge between the City’s recreation complexes and your local neighbourhood helping to connect resources, space and people so that everyone can access recreation programs that matter to them without having to travel far from home.

What's Our Goal?

Our goal is in the name; we want to build community.

When programs are offered locally, people are more likely to participate. It creates connection between parents, children, neighbours and seniors where you start to see familiar faces and feel more “at-home” in the place you live.

However, each neighbourhood is different, and our programs should reflect those differences. What works in one community, may not work in another.

Therefore, we need your help.

We want to know…

      - What types of programs you or your family would like to see offered locally

      - The best time slots and days that work best for your schedule

      - Are there other unique recreational activities that we haven’t thought of yet         that you are interested in?

Your input will directly influence what gets offered – whether that’s fitness, arts, children’s programs or adult fitness.
