Update - September 26, 2024
Good news for you and your furry companions! There is a proposed plan for a dog park in our community (located near Gregory Casey Stormwater Pond)!
The following is the design proposal before public feedback:
The proposed dog park is currently designed to include:
-- A main entrance enclosure to allow for secure leashing and un-leashing
-- a large, in-ground waste receptacle, and
-- separate entrances to two distinct areas: a small-dog park, and a large-dog park.
Additionally, both the large and small dog areas are proposed to include:
-- an area of gravel surfacing (decomposed granite) as well as a grassed area
-- an accessible, asphalt path
-- metal ‘pee posts’
-- benches, and
-- proposed and/or existing trees.
