Tabling a motion for an increase of paramedics

I am very concerned about the current status of our paramedic service regarding the significant increase in level 0 events.  This item was on the agenda of the most recent Emergency Preparedness and Protective Services Committee and as such, I tabled a motion to increase our paramedic service this year and next (SEE HERE) and also am working with stakeholders to build a Long Term Care facility here in Barrhaven that would relieve some of the strain on our hospitals. This project will begin construction this summer.
