Advocating to council the importance of the Provincial Barnsdale Interchange

This week at transportation committee I was able to represent the importance of the Barnsdale Interchange during a presentation from the Provincial Ministry of Transportation on the current status (SEE HERE)  An environmental assessment has been completed and the project is now awaiting detailed design and funding.  I have advocated on the importance of this issue up to and including the Minister’s office.  I am pleased to see this progress and will be the first one to inform you when there are further updates.  See the local CBC coverage of this issue (HERE)
