Hosting with council colleagues and federal representatives to discuss economic opportunities

This past week I met with my local council colleagues, Wilson Lo and Sean Devine, and our Federal representative, MP Chandra Arya.  There are numerous significant issues that intersect the municipal and federal responsibilities, such as economic opportunities arising from Area X.0 and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency – both of which are in growth phases right now. We also had the opportunity to discuss transit, PILT funding, the Greenbank bike lane, public safety issues and more.  It was a good opportunity to align on these important economic and safety related issues.
