Hydro Ottawa will be starting preparations for the Greenbank realignment project by relocating street lights and other hydro infrastructure in the Cambrian area (from Apolune to Seely's bay).

Advanced hydro relocation (September 18, 2025)
Hydro Ottawa, in conjunction with the City of Ottawa, will be completing advanced relocation of hydro infrastructure within the new Greenbank corridor between 200 metres south of Cambrian Road and Riverboat Heights, as shown below. Some short-duration lane closures on Cambrian Road may be required.

The utility work will be undertaken this fall and is expected to be completed by mid January 2026. The purpose of this work is to relocate both underground and aerial utilities in support of the Greenbank Realignment Project, scheduled to begin construction in 2026.
