Provincial Government announces funding for Barnsdale Interchange

Big News! The province has agreed to prioritize and fund the Barnsdale-416 interchange! See this video for my comments at the announcement and the media commentaries from CBC here, on CTV evening news & video segment here, and the Government of Ontario press release here.  I have heard from many of you that we need to better balance our infrastructure investments with residential growth.  I have said that I would advocate on this and am doing everything that I can to improve our situation.  Getting the $20M additional Greenbank realignment allocation and now the Barnsdale Interchange will greatly improve the traffic concerns in the Stonebridge/Half Moon Bay areas.  There remains much to do, but I am very pleased with the progress that we are making.
