Stop Signs installed at Cambrian & Elevation and Apolune & Watercolours

A couple of important construction updates in the Borrisokane / Cambrian area!

🛑4-way stop signs installed

First off, two intersections have been upgraded to 4-way stops. When Cambrian reopened this week, the intersection at Elevation/Apolune has become a 4-way stop. At the same time, crews have installed the 4-way stop at Apolune and Watercolours. Both of these stop signs should provide traffic calming and increase pedestrian safety in a busy and growing area.

🚗⬅️⬆️ Borrisokane Left Turn Lane onto Flagstaff

Construction on the dedicated left turn lane onto Flagstaff will start in the coming weeks. This will allow cars to turn onto Flagstaff without holding up traffic (as there will be a slip through lane).

✅Cambrian Reopened

As mentioned above, Cambrian has reopened for access to Borrisokane, two weeks ahead of schedule! This culminates the first phase of the Trail Waste Facility's collection system upgrades.

⛔Borrisokane southbound closure (between Cambrian and Haiku)

As Cambrian opens and the Trail Waste Project progresses to the next phase, a partial closure of Borrisokane is in place as of now. This closure is expected to last until late fall, 2025, but note that the project is progressing ahead of schedule so far. Detour route signage is provided.
