This is a major point of interest for our community and to be able to learn about the processes will help coordination with staff as we explore options for the future of the landfill.

I had the oppoirtunity to visit the Waste Management landfill and Tomlinson waste diversion sites this week as well.  It was eye opening to see the innovations that have become available in the solid waste ecosystem and I look forward to representing my opposition to garbage bag tags at the environment committee this week (see more about my position here).
